Episode 4: All My Children

ON THIS DAY...

1881 :Clara Barton founded the Red Cross. What an incredible legacy and we'd be remiss if we didn't remind everyone to support their Red Cross relief efforts wherever you are...can you imagine creating a non-profit that lasted 140 years and thriving!?

1932: Amelia Earhart becomes the 1st woman to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic, paving the way for the great Tammy Jo Shultz to land a plane while people were being sucked out of the window.

1999: Susan Lucci wins her first Emmy after 19 nominations! OK it's not the Red Cross or flying the Atlantic first BUT LOSING 18 times and being able to keep standing requires fortitude too, sisters!
